How to Compare a Public Schedule to a Public Schedule

Maestrow maintains historical SSIM files, updated on a weekly basis. See How to Manage Schedules for instructions.

List Available Public Schedules

To see which public files are available for comparison:

List public schedules that are available for query.

This will return the dataset names you need to reference in your comparison prompts.

Compare Two Public Schedules

Reference the two dataset names you want to compare. The example below compares two private SSIM files and lists any differences in aircraft type:

Compare public schedules 2026w20 with 2026w10 and show all differences in aircraft type. List flight number, previous aircraft type and latest aircraft type.
naming note

Best practice is to use the file year/week for example “use the 2026w14 schedules”. Remember you can alwasy ask Maestrow what SSIM files did you use, after exceuting your prompt!

What You Can Compare

You can use any SSIM field as the basis for your comparison. Common examples include:

  • Aircraft type
  • Departure and arrival times
  • Flight frequency
  • Terminal and gate
  • Codeshare details
  • Traffic restrictions

For a full list of available SSIM terms, see How to do a SSIM File Search.
